2. Cherrapunji

Although, this town in India receives heavy rainfall throughout the year. But during this time, it experiences heavy rainfall. The live bridge made of the roots of trees is the most beautiful thing here. It is popular among trekkers. Wandering in the tea gardens or having a road trip are some other things to enjoy here.

The exquisite and beautiful hill station of Arunachal Pradesh, Tawang is home to a Buddhist monastery Gompas, and a war memorial. Spreading across the lush green hills, Twang is the perfect destination for monsoons as it becomes fresh and green than ever.

There is no doubt that the beauty of Darjeeling will be at its peak during the time of the monsoon. And the reason for this is the green tea plantation looks fresh and clean because of getting bathed in the rainwater.
