Tour Overview

Mussoorie, popularly known as the Queen of Hills, is a hill station situated at an altitude of 1,880 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand state. From this hill station, there is a spectacular view of the Shivalik mountain range. This place is also considered the gateway to Yamunotri and Gangotri religious centers.

Auli is famous for its huge snow-capped mountains, Trishul Peak, Nanda Devi Peak, and activities like skiing, camping, and hiking. From December to March, the Auli Mountains are usually covered with a thick carpet of snow, Auli is most famous for skiing and winter games. Nainital is known as the lake town.

This beautiful hill station is located in the Kumaon Hills in the Himalayas and is home to several beautiful lakes. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva's wife Sati's left eye fell at this spot, causing the formation of this eye-shaped Naini Lake. The weather in Uttarakhand is excellent throughout the year. During summers the most popular activities are Char Dham Yatra, Rafting, Camping, and Trekking, while in winter skiing, winter games, and snowfall are most popular.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Delhi - Mussoorie (285 Kms/06 Hrs)

On arrival, the Tusk Travel representative will meet you at the airport/railway station or other desired location at your preferred time and assist you to your car, driving straight to Mussoorie. Lunch at midway restaurant.

On arrival in the evening, check-in into the hotel, and after taking some rest explore Mussoorie mall road on your own.

Later return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Mussoorie.

Day 2 :Mussoorie Sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Mussoorie sightseeing. Explore Kempty Falls, Mussourie Lake, Camel’s Back Road, Lal Tibba, Landour Bazaar, The Christ Church, Sisters Bazaar, Snow View Point, Bhatta Falls, Happy Valley.

In the evening explore Gun Hills by ropeway on your own. returns back to the hotel, having dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :Mussoorie - Rishikesh

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh (Yoga capital of the world) via Dehradun. Upon arrival visit nearby temples and Ashrams.

Later in the evening witness the holy Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat. Back to hotel for Overnight stay.

Day 4 :Rishikesh - Joshimath

After breakfast start driving to Joshimath, the whole day you will spend a scenic drive to Joshimath.

On arrival check-in at the hotel, later in the evening explore nearby places. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 :Joshimath - Auli Sightseeing - Joshimath

After breakfast, leave for Auli by Ropeway from where sightsee covering with skiing in Auli and Gurson Bugyal ( 03 km trek from Auli).

Where you can view peaks of the Himalayas like Nanda Devi and Trishul and artificial lake after enjoying back to Joshimath hotel and overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 6 :Joshimath – Nainital (271.3 kms / 9 hrs )

After waking up to a beautiful morning, check out early from the hotel and start a scenic drive to Nainital after having breakfast.

After check-in has some rest later visit nearby places by walk. overnight stay in a hotel at Nainital.

Day 7 :Nainital Sightseeing

After breakfast check out from the hotel for local sightseeing of Nainital. Visit the Naina Devi temple, Tiffin top, Naini Lake, Naina Peak, the Mall road, and lakes like Sattal, Bhimtal, and Naukuchiatal.

Later in the evening, return to your hotel.

Day 8 :Departure

Check out early after breakfast checks out from the hotel and drive to Delhi with scenic memories of the tour.
