Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling (95kms / 3hrs)

Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and transfer to Darjeeling. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 :Darjeeling Local Sightseeing (9 am to 5 pm)

After breakfast at the hotel proceed for sightseeing including Ghoom Monastery; Batashia Loop War Memorial; Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea Estate & Japanese Peace Pagoda. By walk visit the mall road and local market (Closed on Thursday) in the evening.

Day 3 :Dargeeling – Gangtok (105 kms / approx. 4 hours)

The morning after breakfast transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day 4 :Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

The morning after breakfast proceeds for half day sightseeing including Tsomgo lake (12400ft) & Baba Mandir dedicated to the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh.

Evening return back to the hotel.

Day 5 :Gangtok - Lachung (117kms / approx. 6.5 hours)

The morning after breakfast pick up from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachung, en-route sightseeing at Singhik Viewpoint, Chumthang Valley, Twin Falls, and Vima Falls.

Evening free to explore the beautiful Himalayan village on your own.

Day 6 :Day Trip to Yumthang Valley

Early morning after breakfast starts for half-day excursion trip to Yumthang Valley, en-route visit Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary & Hot Spring. Yumthang, which is at an altitude of 12,000 ft. is situated about 135 km from Gangtok.

April and May promise colorful flowers & Orchids, whereas in November end of March usually sees snows Transfer back to Lachung for Lunch followed by a visit to Lachung Monastery. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 :Lachung - Gangtok (117 kms / approx. 5 hours)

Morning after breakfast transfer to Gangtok. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 :Gangtok – Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri

Morning Transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station
