Everyone else will be crammed into every available space. Alternatively, you can plan something entirely different. Go to a fantastic location. You may start in Guwahati and travel to some beautiful locations along the way.
Tawang, Bomdila, Dirang, Nameri, and Kaziranga are all locations you will fall in love with. You may get a 10 days North East India package and take advantage of everything it has to offer. It is nice that it is far from the crowds.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, relax after your journey and get introduced to the gateway city of North East India.
Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, enjoy a peaceful evening near the Brahmaputra River, or take an optional sunset cruise. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the charming hill capital of Meghalaya. The journey takes you through scenic roads, rolling hills, pine forests, and small local settlements.
On the way, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake, one of the most photographed places in Meghalaya. Continue to Shillong and check in to your hotel. Evening is free to explore Police Bazaar or relax at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Begin the day with a full-day sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, and Lady Hydari Park.
Later, enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak and visit Elephant Falls, one of the most popular natural attractions near the city. Evening is free for café hopping, local market walks, and shopping. Overnight stay in Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest and most scenic destinations in India. The route offers misty valleys, deep gorges, and dramatic hill landscapes.
On arrival, visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, and other nearby viewpoints depending on weather conditions. Check in to your hotel or resort. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Today is dedicated to the natural wonders of Cherrapunji. Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls, and the famous Mawsmai Cave.
If you enjoy nature walks, you may also include a short trek or visit nearby villages known for living root bridges. The day is ideal for travellers who love waterfalls, limestone caves, rainforest scenery, and photography. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Kaziranga National Park in Assam. This is a long but beautiful journey from the hills of Meghalaya to the wildlife landscapes of Assam.
On arrival in Kaziranga, check in to your jungle resort or hotel. The evening is free to relax after the journey. You may enjoy a cultural performance at the resort if available. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Start early with a wildlife safari inside Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Depending on the safari zone and availability, enjoy jeep safari in areas such as Central, Western, Eastern, or Burapahar Range.
Return to the resort for breakfast and relax. Later, you may visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park or enjoy another optional safari. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
After breakfast, proceed towards Majuli, the world-famous river island of Assam, if your travel plan includes an overnight stay there. The journey includes road travel and a ferry crossing, depending on local schedules and river conditions.
In Majuli, explore traditional satras, local villages, mask-making workshops, and the peaceful island landscape. If Majuli is not included due to timing or season, continue directly to Guwahati for an overnight stay. Overnight stay in Majuli or Guwahati.
If staying in Majuli, spend the morning visiting Auniati Satra, Kamalabari Satra, and local artisan villages before returning towards Guwahati. If already in Guwahati, enjoy city sightseeing after breakfast.
Visit Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, and local markets. In the evening, you may enjoy a Brahmaputra River cruise depending on time and availability. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or a short temple visit.
Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Meghalaya’s hills, Assam’s wildlife, and the cultural charm of North East India.
