Khajuraho is still a distant place in the central part of India and it is proven by the fact that the nearest major railhead is 175 km away. So it is really surprising that these temples are kept secret in the dense forests for years until a British military adventurer declared to pay attention to a proposal made by a local or taking a long route to observe them.
This occurred in the year of 1838. The rest as they believed is history. Many of the temples found here are a unique representation of the country as the Taj.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the temples over here represent the culmination of the two art forms, sculpture, and architecture. In a short period of 100 years, that is from 950 CE – 1050 CE, these temples were finished in an extraordinary burst of creativity.

Detailed Itinerary
On this day, after arriving at Khajuraho Airport, our tour representative will meet you at the airport and will take you to the hotel for a night stay.
At the hotel, you can take some rest or the day is free to enjoy your own activities. Make your overnight stay in the cozy room of the hotel.
Arrival & hotel check-in at Khajuraho.
On the 2nd day morning, after breakfast, move forward for a full-day guided trip to Khajuraho and explore the western group of temples, Jain group of temples, Raneh Falls, eastern group of temples. In the evening, enjoy the sound and light show at the temples.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Full-day guided sightseeing in Khajuraho.
On the last day, post breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel and get transferred to Khajuraho Airport to catch your flight back home. Return with unforgettable memories of Khajuraho.
