Tour Overview

The highest motorable pass in the world is found in Leh-Ladakh, along with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. Ladakh is increasingly becoming the most instagrammable place in India. It is known for pristine ice lakes, unparalleled scenic views, and twisting roads.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrive Leh

Arrive on time at Leh airport. Meet a Tusk Travel representative who will attend to you upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel to complete your check-in.

Take rest as you’ll need time to acclimatize to this climate.

Day 2 :Shyam Valley Excursion

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before departing to Shyam Valley. Today you are going to visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, A visit to Magnetic Hill is the highlight of the day, where you'll see your cargo uphill even when it's in neutral.

Explore the Sangam Point, a colorful experience at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Later return back to Leh hotel.

Day 3 :Leh – Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley (125 Km / 5-6 Hrs)

Morning drives to Nubra valley via Khardungla pass. Khardungla pass is considered World’s Highest Motorable Pass. Drive-up spiraling serpentines to reach 5550 meter-high Khardung La.

Experience bird's eye views of Leh city from the pass. On arrival at Nubra check in at the hotel. After wash & change proceed to visit the charming valley of Diskit, the tiny capital of Nubra. Explore the famous Diskit Gompa, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery (gompa) in the Nubra Valley, which offers a breathtaking view of the valley.

Next, proceed to Hunder to observe the cold desert and famous two-humped camels. Enjoy a unique camel ride (at your own cost). Return back to the hotel by evening.

Day 4 :Nubra – Pangong Lake Via Shyok (275 Km / 6 – 7 Hrs)

Morning drive to famous Pangong Lake via Shyok. Experience the magnificent trip with picturesque views of the snow-covered Himalayas. With a height of 4267 meters and a length of 130 km, it is the deepest salt-water lake in the world.

It is about 6 km wide and 130 km long. An absolutely clear sky and beautiful surrounding hills add to the magnificence of the scene. The night sky is crystal clear with glittering stars, so enjoy your dinner, more time in nature, and a star-filled sky. Overnight in Pangong.

Day 5 :Pangong – Leh Via Changla Pass (230 Km / 5 - 6 Hrs)

Enjoy a beautiful morning in the camp, charge yourself with breakfast, and create unforgettable memories.

Later drive to Leh via Changla pass. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Evening free to explore the local market on your own.

Day 6 :Departure from Leh

Take the flight to Leh to board your onward flight with memories of the great time you had on your tour.
