If you want to devour a little of everything, from hills to rivers, caves, valleys and waterfalls, visit Meghalaya. Also known as the "abode of the clouds", Meghalaya is one of the most exotic states in the northeast of India, with an enormous variation in scenic beauty, culture and gastronomy.

The most fascinating sight on the road to Meghalaya is the amazing view of the clouds that tend to descend gradually as the altitude rises.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Guwahati - Shillong Local Sightseeing

Our representative will receive you at Guwahati airport in the morning and then take you to Shillong where on the way you can visit Barapani Urmiam Lake.

In the evening check at the hotel and relax.

Day 2 :Shillong - Cherrapunjee (65 km)

Traverse to Cherrapunjee in the morning. This place is locally and officially named as Sohra. Cherrapunjee is located 65 km away from Shillong.

It is a ‘must see’ spot for all visitors. This is the place which receives the highest rainfall in the country.

You can visit places like Nohkalikai waterfall, Mawsmai Cave, Thang-Kharang Eco Park etc. in Cherrapunjee.

Get back to Shillong for night stay.

Day 3 :Shillong Local sightseeing

In the morning after having done with your breakfast, drive to Shillong.

On the way visit places like Don Bosco Museum, Urmiam lake at Barapani, Ward Lake, Golf field, Lady Hydria Park, etc at Shillong.

In the evening, explore the local market.

Day 4 :Shillong - Guwahati

After having breakfast in the morning, proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway station for continuing the journey. After that, the tour ends up.
