Itinerary Details
Day 1 :Arrival in Srinagar
Upon arrival in Srinagar, a representative of Tusk Travel will meet you who will assist and escort you to your houseboat. Srinagar is famous for its lakes, houseboats, and traditional Kashmiri handicrafts.
On the first day during half-day sightseeing explore the gardens & enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains, In the evening, enjoy a visit to Mughal Gardens followed by a Shikara-ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 2 :Drive from Srinagar – Pahalgam (90 kms / 3.5 hours)
On day second, after breakfast, proceed towards Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds) situated at the foothills of the mountains, famous for its natural beauty of valleys, golf ground, some trekking routes, Snow glaciers, and base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 :Pahalgam Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views of Pahalgam town sightseeing by a scenic drive to Chandanwari and Betaab valley and Awantipura Ruins (temple of Lord Vishnu) later on the way to Aru valley visit zoo (Deer Park) near Lidder river.
While seeing the natural beauty of Pahalgam take a Horse ride (Pony Ride). Overnight stay & dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 :Pahalgam – Gulmarg (145 kms / Approx. 5 hours)
After breakfast, start drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), full day at leisure to enjoy the natural charm of the valley and take walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains.
Dinner & overnight in the hotel.
Day 5 :Gulmarg Sightseeing - Srinagar (58 kms / Approx. 3 hours)
After breakfast, visit for local sightseeing. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the second-highest golf course in the world.
You can enjoy nature walks, bird watching, horse rides, and the most exciting activity Gondola cable car ride world’s highest and Asia’s longest cable car.
Evening back to Srinagar for Overnight stay & dinner at Houseboat.
Day 6 :Sonamarg (Day Trip) (One way – 55 kms / Approx. 2.5 hours)
After breakfast drive to full-day excursion of Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar - Leh road towards Sonamarg takes us on the scenic drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams.
Sonmarg offers the adventure of treks, sledding, angling, alpine skiing, and white water rafting. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.
Later return to Srinagar for dinner & overnight stay in houseboat.
Day 7 :Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to the airport to board your home flight with the beautiful memories of tour with Tusk Travel
