This 8 Days Ladakh Tour Package is designed for travelers who want to explore the region’s most iconic landscapes, monasteries and high-altitude passes. From the lunar landscapes of Lamayuru and the historic town of Kargil to the cold desert of Nubra Valley and the turquoise waters of Pangong Lake, this itinerary brings together the best of Leh–Ladakh. Enjoy views from Khardung La, visit centuries-old gompas, experience Buddhist culture, and witness some of India’s most dramatic Himalayan scenery.

Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Leh is located at an altitude of nearly 11,500 ft, so the first day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. Enjoy views of the rugged mountains and settle into the high-altitude climate.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Begin your journey from Leh towards the ancient Alchi Monastery. Continue to Lamayuru, known for its moon-like landscapes.
En route, visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Sangam (Indus–Zanskar confluence), and later cross Fotu La & Namika La Pass to reach Kargil.
Overnight stay in Kargil.
After breakfast, drive to Drass, one of the coldest inhabited places. Visit the Drass War Memorial built in honor of the Kargil War heroes.
Stop at Mulbekh Monastery before returning to Leh by evening.

Drive across the legendary Khardung La Pass (5,550 m), considered one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Arrive in Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery for panoramic views.
Explore Hunder Sand Dunes, known for the rare two-humped Bactrian camels.
Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Drive to Pangong Lake through the scenic Shyok route. Pangong Tso is one of the world’s highest saltwater lakes, famous for its changing shades of blue.
Enjoy a peaceful evening beside the lake.
Overnight stay at Pangong (camp).
Wake up to stunning sunrise views at Pangong. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Changla Pass.
Free evening for shopping or relaxation.

Explore the major attractions of Leh including Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace.

- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
