A highlight of the trip is a visit to Mawlynnong, celebrated as Asia's cleanest village. This pristine village is also home to the remarkable 'Living Root Bridges', a testament to the harmonious relationship between nature and mankind.
In Guwahati, Assam's largest city, you'll find a blend of urban vibrancy and scenic tranquility. This city is a gateway to the region's rich history and diverse culture.

This tour package is designed to offer a blend of natural beauty, cultural insights, and serene escapades, making it ideal for travelers seeking an extraordinary experience in the heart of Northeast India.
Detailed Itinerary
At first, get greeted by arriving at the Guwahati station/airport and then proceed to Shillong. The duration to reach this attractive hill station of Shillong is 3.5 hours.
En route, explore Borapani Lake, the largest artificial lake in the Meghalaya state. It is also called the Umiam Lake as it is fully covered by Sylvian hills.
When you reach Shillong, check in at the hotel and get relaxed. Later stay for the whole night at the hotel.
Arrival & transfer to Shillong.
After finishing breakfast in the morning, take a short trip to the wettest place on earth known as Cherrapunjee.
These places are located at a distance of 60 km and en route, check out limestone caves, several waterfalls, striking Root Bridge and other natural sites.
Do explore the Mawsmai cave, Thangkharang Park and the Seven Sisters Falls. Return to Shillong in the evening.
Finally, visit the beautiful Elephanta Falls and the popular Shillong Peak. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Shillong & Cherrapunjee sightseeing.
Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then take a short tour of Mawlynnong, considered the cleanest village in Asia.
Then visit the Jingmaham Living Root Bridge. Explore Mawlynnong village and enjoy the stunning waterfalls. Then proceed to Dawki.
This small border town in the Jaintia Hills is famous for the lovely Umngot River. Enjoy the scenic views.
Later enjoy a ferry ride in the crystal-clear waters of Dawki. Return to Shillong for overnight stay.

In the morning have breakfast. Then proceed for the half-day Shillong sightseeing tour.
Visit Lady Hydari Park decorated with roses and other flowers.
Then drive to Guwahati (3.5 hours). On arrival, check in at the hotel.
In the evening, visit Kalakshetra to watch the light-and-sound show showing Assam’s culture.
Enjoy an optional boat ride on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight in Guwahati.
Shillong local sightseeing & transfer to Guwahati.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple and then move to the airport/railway station for onward journey.
Tour ends with blessings from Maa Kamakhya.
