Zanskar Valley

Diskit Monastery

Diskit Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries located in Ladakh and it is located in the middle of Nubra Valley. It was established in the 14th century by Changzem Tsera Zangpo. The Buddhist monastery is quite big and surrounds a huge area.

Tso Moriri Lake

This lake is a lesser-known lake and it is located near to Chang Tang Wildlife Sanctuary. The backdrop of the surrounding is filled with lofty mountains and it is best to gaze at the night sky under the brightening stars.

This lake evolves from the Mountains and you are sure to find some very rare Himalayan range animals like the bare headed goose, brown-headed gull, etc.

Hemis National Park

Hemis National park is the second largest national park in East Asia.
