Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrival at Jabalpur – Bandhavgarh (180 km/ 3 hrs)

On this day, when you reach Jabalpur airport, our tour guide will help you at the airport and then take a ride to Bandhavgarh. On arriving at Bandhavgarh, get into your hotel for overnight stay.

Here, get relaxed and make use of your free time in the day. Then, later on, move back to the hotel for a comfortable night stay.

Day 2 :Bandhavgarh

On this day, prior to breakfast, move forward for jungle safari at Bandhavgarh National Park. After that get back to the hotel for having your breakfast.

Afterwards, walk towards the Bandhavgarh Fort located at the topmost point of Bandhavgarh Hills. Also, learn about the water management system. Observe the archaeological remains of above 1000 years and learn the unique topography of the Park. Visit the rural schools at Bandhavgarh.

In the evening, come again with the day’s activity, stroll through the medicinal plant garden, learn conservation practices like solar water heating, solar cooking, vermin culture and unique architecture of the lodge and an Indian Village. Attend a lecture of astronomy which includes observing through a telescope. Do overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 :Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho (240 kms/4.30 hrs)

Morning, after enjoying at Bandhavgarh National Park, get back to the hotel. Post breakfast, take a drive to Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho, move into the pre-booked hotel for overnight stay.

After taking rest, get out for a sightseeing trip of Western Group of Temples containing a huge Laxman Temple devoted to Lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varaha Temples devoted to Vishnu’s consort Laxman, the Chausath Temple devoted to Goddess Kali and the Kandariya Mahadev Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Also, do make a visit to the Archaeological museum having a great variety of stone carvings of the Chandela dynasty. Move back to the hotel to stay tonight.

Day 4 :Departure from Khajuraho

In the morning of this day, after completing the delicious breakfast, move out from the hotel and get ready for a sightseeing trip to Eastern Group of Temples and explore the Jain Temples of Parsvanath, Shanti Nath, and Adinath and also visit the temples of Brahma/Hanuman and Vamana both of which are devoted to Lord Vishnu.

Check out Archaeological museum containing different collections of stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty. After completing your sightseeing trip, proceed towards the Khajuraho Airport to catch a flight for getting back home with beautiful memories.
