Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Delhi - Jaipur

Arrival in Delhi and transfer by road to Jaipur, known as the "pink city", for the color of its buildings and is perhaps one of the most picturesque in the world. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon we will stop to take photos at the Albert Hall Palace and visit the Birla Temple, a white marble sanctuary surrounded by green areas, dedicated to the god Vishnu and his consort. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 :Jaipur - Amber Fort - Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the outskirts of Jaipur to visit the Amber Fort, which gives us a spectacular image from the road. This palatial complex is imposed on the top of a hill to which we will access on the back of an elephant (space subject to restrictions). Built with sandstone and decorated with carved marbles that cover floors and walls and adorned with paintings, it is reminiscent of the magnificence with which many Maharajas used to live.

The visit continues in Jaipur, in the City Palace, and in the Jantar Mantar Observatory still in operation and where we can observe the accuracy of the stone instruments built in the 18th century. We will also visit the Maharaja's Palace and its museums. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3 :Jaipur - Abhaneri - Fathepur Sikri - Agra

Breakfast. Departure to Agra. We will make the first stop in Abhaneri to admire its medieval Rajput monuments such as the Chand Baori well and the Harshat Mata Temple dedicated to the god Visnu. We will continue our way to the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by the Mughal emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. It was the capital of the Mughal empire for 14 years, after which it had to be abandoned, although in spite of that you can still see its magnificent architecture mixing Mughal and Hindu styles.

We continue to Agra, a city that alternated with Delhi, the capital of the Mughal Empire. We will visit the Mehtab Bagh garden, on the other bank of the Yamuna river to admire the Taj Mahal, an excellent place for photography enthusiasts. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 :Agra - Delhi

Early breakfast, to go and contemplate one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal with the first rays of the sunCarriage ride and visit of the Taj Mahal, erected between 1631 and 1654 by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The monument has achieved special notoriety for the romantic nature of its inspiration.

We continue visiting the Red Fort, built-in red sandstone, by the Mughal emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573. It is a walled complex, which encloses palaces and stately buildings inside and surrounded by a deep moat that was filled with river water Yamuna and reflects Indian architecture under three Mughal emperors: Akbar, Jehangir, and Shah Jahan. Then depart by road to Delhi International Airport. End of our services.
