Continue towards the elephant care and rehabilitation facilities near Kaprikkad before climbing into the Western Ghats for the cool climate and tea plantations of Munnar. The journey then passes through spice-growing areas to Thekkady, the main visitor base for Periyar Tiger Reserve.
The final part of the holiday slows down considerably. Cruise through the Alleppey backwaters, observe village life beside the canals and continue to Mararikulam for time near Marari Beach. After breakfast, you can explore Cochin's local attractions, including Fort Kochi and Marine Drive. Also, stop by St.Francis Church.
Next, visit the Dutch Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Bolgatty Island and Indo Portuguese Museum.

After breakfast, drive to Munnar. En-route visit Kodanad Elephant Care Center and scenic natural viewpoints.

Explore the rolling hills of Misty Munnar covered with tea plantations. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Rajamalai National Park (Eravikulam National Park). You may spot the rare Nilgiri Thars. Overnight stay in Munnar.
