evening strolling around Mall Road or simply enjoy the cool

Begin early with a drive to Tiger Hill to witness the famous
sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Continue to the historic Ghoom
Monastery and the scenic Batasia Loop. After breakfast,
visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Zoological
Park and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre. Spend time at
a tea estate before enjoying a panoramic cable car ride. End
your day exploring Chowk Bazaar for local crafts and
souvenirs.

After breakfast, drive to Mirik, a serene hill destination
surrounded by orange orchards and pine forests. Spend time
at Sumendu Lake where you can enjoy boating or horse riding
along the lakeside trail. The cool climate and views of
rolling tea gardens make Mirik a refreshing escape. On your
return, stop at Pashupati Market (Nepal border) for unique
clothing and accessories. Drive back to Darjeeling in the
evening.

Check out after breakfast and drive to Gangtok, the modern
yet peaceful capital of Sikkim. The journey offers scenic
views of rivers, forests and mountain valleys. En route,
stop for photos at tea gardens or viewpoints. Upon arrival,

exploring MG Road, known for its cafés, shops and lively
promenade. A pleasant first day in Gangtok.

After breakfast, begin your local sightseeing tour of
Gangtok. Visit Tashi View Point for Himalayan views, then
continue to Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok and the colorful Flower
Exhibition Centre. Explore Enchey Monastery and the Namgyal
Institute of Tibetology for a deeper look into Buddhist
culture. Later, visit Banjhakri Waterfalls surrounded by
landscaped gardens and sculptures. Evening free for shopping
on MG Road.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Today’s excursion takes you to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake
set at 12,400 ft and revered by local communities. Enjoy the
dramatic mountain landscapes and, in winter, snow-covered
surroundings. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a
shrine honoring an Indian Army soldier associated with many
legends. Optional trip to Nathula Pass (as per permit and
weather). Return to Gangtok in the afternoon and relax.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Bagdogra Airport,
NJP Railway Station or Siliguri for your onward journey.

After fluid and attentive exchange via WhatsApp, we decided to hire private tour.
Our chauffeur Mohan and his expert handling, allowed us to be calm in the middle of the chaotic traffic of the big cities Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
Of course, the guides of those cities, were correct but not very good, since they provide the information in "autopilot mode "
