Tour Overview

Tusk Travel has planned the itinerary of 11 Days Goa with Kerala Tours, which is certainly an unforgettable lifetime tour.

Goa is a land of beaches, fringed with numerous palm trees. Besides enjoying a sun bath, you can participate in water sports like parasailing and dolphin cruises. Regain your health with the Ayurveda massages which are available at the beach resorts. The churches of Goa are known for their architectural beauty and historical importance. Last but not the least, it is a unique experience to have spicy Goa delicacies with quality wine, while relaxing at the sea beach.

Kerala on the other hand is a strip of narrow land wedged between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. It is a photographer’s paradise with its divine beauty. Often termed as a land of spices, you can enjoy some traditional delicacies. Enjoy the colorful Kathakali dance form, fishing, and boat racing at the placid backwaters of Kerala.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrival at Goa

The representative of Tusk Travel welcomes you at the Goa airport or Goa railway station. After checking in to the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day enjoying leisurely activities at the hotel.

There is dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :Goa Beaches

After morning breakfast, you will explore the Goa beaches. Visit the Baga beach which is one of the largest beaches in Goa. The white, clean sand makes the beach ideal for swimming.

You can also enjoy water sports like parasailing, windsurfing, and dolphin cruises. Visit the ‘Queen of Beaches,’ the Colva Beach. Stretching over 40 Km, this endless beach is apt for relaxation.

Spent some lazy moments lying on the beach shacks. Witness a different scenic beauty at Arambol Beach. This beach consists of a few rocks and a sweet water tank on the beach.

Enjoy a romantic dinner and stay at the beach resort.

Day 3 :Goa Sightseeing

After breakfast, your tour to Old Goa and the Panjim market; a thriving city during the Portuguese rule. You will find some of the oldest churches here.

We visit the Archbishop’s Palace; consisting of a Christian art gallery. Near this, lies the Church of St. Francis of Assisi; the walls of which are decorated with Bible stories. We also tour the Se-Cathedral, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, and the Archaeological Museum.

The Panjim market is a blend of tradition and modernization. It is a treasure house of artifacts, brassware, shell work, curios, and terracotta.

There is an overnight stay at the beach resort.

Day 4 :Goa – Cochin

You can enjoy some rocking live performances at the beaches. Enjoy some time at the famous Goa casinos or taste some unique cuisines of the state.

In the evening, we board a train to Cochin; the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’.

Dinner is arranged on the train, as there is an overnight stay on the train.

Day 5 :Cochin Sightseeing

After arrival at Cochin, the representative of Tusk Travel will meet you and he will assist you during the check-in process in the hotel.

After some refreshment and relaxation, in the evening you can stroll at the sea beach to view a charming sunset. Also, visit the Dutch Palace to witness the paintings and accessories used by the rulers of Kerala.

Day 6 :Cochin – Munnar

On this day you head towards the lush green valleys of Munnar. We arrive here in the afternoon. After relishing a traditional lunch and relaxing for the rest of the day.

Day 7 :Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, you head towards the lush green tea plantations. This picturesque site is apt for some master photography. You will visit the Echo point and the Tata Tea Museum.

Later visit the Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, a shelter for the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr and Ibex. It is rich in biodiversity. The Mattupetty Dam is a beautiful spot, surrounded by beautiful hills and tea plantations.

You can enjoy boating here. Near the dam lies the Rose Garden, where you can get to see lots of colorful birds and a perfect trekking spot for adventure lovers.

Day 8 :Munnar – Periyar

After breakfast, you will move to Idukki for Periyar. After arriving, check in to the hotel and later visit the largest arch dam in Asia, the Idukki Dam. It is 555 feet in height and is a great sunrise and sunset point.

We also tour the cardamom and tea plantations. Also, enjoy boating in the placid waters of Periyar Lake. It is also a natural habitat for several types of birds, like the egrets and migratory birds.

There is dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 :Periyar Sightseeing

On this day you will start an early day to visit Periyar. You visit the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. From the ferocious tigers to the large elephants, this forest area is rich in flora and fauna.

You will visit Murikkady; a popular coffee, cardamom, and pepper plantation. Enjoy photography and trekking at the Pandikuzhi.

After enjoying some divine natural beauty of Kerala, return to the hotel for dinner and a night's stay.

Day 10 :Periyar - Cochin

After we enjoy our breakfast, we depart for Cochin. After checking into the hotel, you can rest and enjoy leisurely activities at the hotel.

In the evening you can enjoy shopping at the local markets. You can shop for metal sculptures, camel bone carved items, wooden handicrafts, and hand-woven mats.

Day 11 :Cochin (Departure)

After breakfast, the representative of Tusk Travel escorts you to the airport or railway station, from where you can get back to your home with some beautiful memories.
