Tour Overview

From ancient times, the mighty town of Darjeeling which is tucked in the Lesser Himalaya has always fascinated the mind of visitors from all around the world.

The town contains the typical Gorkha culture and is renowned for its picturesque colonial ambiance. In addition to that, this hill station of India is the gateway to one of the famous treks in the Indian Himalayan region that is the Sandakphu-Phalut Trek.

It is also one of the two destinations in the country where one can seize the whole scenery of the Eastern Himalayan ranges that is from the Everest to Kanchendzonga.

You can check out the refreshing surroundings which are filled with various tea estates and evergreen forests and it is a perfect place for leisure capers. Here are some of the places to explore in Darjeeling which will indeed offer you full enjoyment and satisfaction.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrival at Bagdogra – Kalimpong (65 km/2 hrs)

On the first day, when you arrive at Bagdogra Airport, our representative will encounter you and then you will be driven to Kalimpong.

On reaching Kalimpong, get into your hotel for a comfortable night stay. Get relaxed at the hotel or the rest of the day is free for leisure. Spend the full night at the hotel.

Day 2 :Kalimpong – Darjeeling (70 km/3 hrs)

Today, in the morning after having done with breakfast, get ready for a half-day city tour of Kalimpong. In this trip, you can explore Kalimpong Durpin Dara (viewpoint), Flower and Orchid Nurseries, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and Dello Hill.

Then, vacate from the hotel and take a ride to Darjeeling. On arriving at Darjeeling, check into your hotel for overnight stay. In the evening, stroll around the town to respect the new culture in which you are. Spend the whole night at the hotel.

Day 3 :Darjeeling

On this day, after finishing morning breakfast, drive to Tiger Hills (8364 ft/ 2550 Mts at around 04 Am) to get a sight of the beautiful sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak which is subject to clear climate.

Later travel back to the hotel and en-route, check out the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After having breakfast at the hotel, move on for a full-day guided trip to Darjeeling and explore Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Peace Pagoda and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which is closed on Thursday and also visit Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tea Estate and finally Tibetan refugee self-help Center (Closed on Sunday).

Rest at the hotel or you can enjoy your own tasks. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 :Darjeeling – Bagdogra (65 km/ 2.30 hrs) and Departure

The last day morning, after the delicious breakfast at the hotel, move out of the hotel and take a ride to Bagdogra Airport so that you can board a flight back home.
