3. National Library of India located at Kolkata

8. The Barog Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh
The Barog Tunnel or Tunnel No.33 is the straightest train tunnel in the world. But the tunnel is more famous for the fascinating tale about the ghost of the British Engineer who committed suicide within the tunnel. The incident happened in the year 1903.
The British Government entrusted the capable Engineer Colonel Barog to build the tunnel. Somehow his calculation went wrong and he ended up making two parallel tunnels. He couldn’t handle the public shaming after the incident and took his own life in total depression within the uncompleted tunnel.
Eventually, the tunnel was completed by another Engineer, and later the railway station established at that place was named after him. 9. Tunnel No.103 of Shimla
This is en route to the Shimla-Kalka Railway line. According to the stories around, this tunnel is the residence of a British spirit and a woman’s spirit who appears to be passing through the tunnel.
