The temple casts a shadow over the Shiva Lingam present inside the temple. The shadow not only looks persistent but also brilliant. The shadow remains visible till sunset. The place is very well known for its celebrations during the days of Shivratri.

5. Sri Raja Rajeshwara Temple

This temple is located in the town of Vemulawada and is also dedicated to Lord Shiva as well. The deity is known as Rajanna and is famous all over the state of Telangana. Even though the temple is Hindu, devotees from any religion or caste can offer prayers to God.

There is a water body known as Dharma Gundam, where the devotees can submerge their bodies and therefore take a bath to cleanse their bodies. After taking a bath, then only they can get a glimpse of the deity. The sacred water of the water body is expected to have medicinal properties that can cure illnesses.

6. Kondagattu Temple

The temple also contains the sculptures of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Venkateswara. The place slowly started gaining popularity after it was found out that the people believed those having problems giving birth to a child, were blessed with one after about 40 to 60 days of performing a visit to the temple.

7. Sangameshwar Temple

8. Ramappa Temple

On the festive nights of Shivaratri, the temple becomes extremely crowded with devotees visiting the place from all over India. The temple is located around thirty kilometers from Hyderabad and can be found in the district of Medchal-Malkajgiri.

The place has a rich history and culture attached to it. Idols of Shiva were found underground dating back to the 4th and 5th centuries.

10. Bhadrakali Temple

Bhadrakali Temple

The history of this beautiful temple dates back to the dynasty of Chalukya. The wall writings tell us about the time around 625 AD. The temple houses the stone structure of Goddess Bhadrakali, which is truly a marvellous beauty of architecture. It has been told by a legend that once the temple was looted by the famous ruler known as Allauddin Khilji.

Then in the year 1950, the structure of the temple was again rebuilt from the ground up. The priceless Kohinoor Diamond was stolen away by Allauddin Khilji. Thousands of devotees visit this place every year and is also one of the oldest Bhadrakali temples in India. The temple is placed on a hilltop.
