11 Days – Golden Triangle With Shimla Toy Train

Welcome to India !!

On reaching India Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, you will be greeted by our tour representative. He will guide you to the hotel. All the check-in formalities will be performed. He will provide you a short introduction about the following day’s tours. After a long flight, you will be relaxing at the hotel for the remaining day.

After breakfast, you will visit the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid. It was made by the Shah Jahan in 1656 AD. You will also visit the grand structure made in red stone, the Red Fort that showcases the rule of the Mughal Empire. This is followed by a glance to the Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), India Gate, President's House, Government Secretariat Building, Parliament Houseandending with the holy darshan at Laxmi Narayan Temple.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head for Agra via road trip. During the journey, you will be stopping at a few places for short coffee breaks or to click photos. When you arrive in Agra, our tour guide will transfer you to the hotel and perform check-in formalities. You have the rest of the day to relax or explore local market for shopping.

Today, you will explore two important UNESCO-protected sites. You will begin with exploring the glorious Taj Mahal that is a marvelous wonder on this planet. It was constructed by a Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife. The next site you will explore is the splendid royal Pavilionslocated at the red sandstone“Agra Fort”.This visit will give plenty of useful insight into the royal lifestyle of Mughals. Spend the remaining day on your own.

After breakfast, you will head to Jaipur. Enroute you will stop at an ancient and royal town of Mughals, Fatehpur Sikri. It is listed as one of the significant UNESCO World Heritage sites. This lavish architecture was built in 1569 by Mughal Emperor Akbar. You will be dazzled looking at its adorable artistic works. On arriving at the pink city, Jaipur, you will comfortably check into a hotel and spend the rest of your day in leisure.

Post breakfast, you will head to the ancient Amber Fort. This place is full of fun and outstanding views that would delight you. As you explore the fort, you will see the kingly palaces like the Sheesh Mahal. Driving back to Jaipur city, you will visit another remarkable tourist spot Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). This is followed by visiting the City Palace Museum that showcases a wonderful collection of Marwari armory and costumes, and, the largest stone observatory Jantar Mantar.

Overnight: Ranthambhore   Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and reach Chandigarh via flight/train. Upon arriving in this city, you will be escorted to a hotel by our tour representative. You have the remaining day to relax.

Post breakfast, you will drive to Dharampur. En-route you will visit the famous Pinjore Garden. Later, you will be boarding a Toy Train to Shimla. This is a panoramic train ride that will give you a unique and interesting experience. When you arrive in Shimla, our tour guide will welcome you and transfer to hotel. You are free to spend the rest of the day in leisure and relaxation.

After having breakfast, you will drive to Kufri. On your way, you will visit the Himalayan Zoo and India Bungalow. You can either ride or take a hike to Mashu Peak. You will get a full afternoon to explore Shimla Mall Road. Some of the attractions of this mall road are Shimla Church, Gaiety Theatre, and Scandal Point. If you are a shopping spree, the town hall is the best place in Shimla to shop to your heart’s content.

After a free morning, you will check out of the hotel and head to Kalka to catch a train for Delhi. On arriving Delhi railway station, you will be greeted by our representative who will escort you to a hotel. You will spend the remaining day at the hotel.

This is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and will be escorted to the New Delhi airport. From there, you can plan your journey ahead.
