How to Reach Ladakh from Delhi
Delhi to Leh by Flight
Flying is the fastest and most comfortable option. Travellers arrive in Leh within a few hours, but the rapid altitude gain makes acclimatization especially important. Keep Day 1 for complete rest and Day 2 for light local sightseeing only if you feel comfortable.
Delhi to Leh via Srinagar
Travel to Srinagar and continue by road through Sonamarg, Zoji La, Drass, Kargil and Lamayuru. The road journey normally requires two days from Srinagar with an overnight stay in Kargil. This route provides a more gradual approach to Leh and includes Kashmir and western Ladakh.

Delhi to Leh via Manali
Travel from Delhi to Manali and continue through Atal Tunnel, Sissu, Keylong, Jispa, Baralacha La, Sarchu, More Plains and Tanglang La. This is a dramatic but demanding route with rapid altitude gain and limited services.
