6 Days Leh Ladakh Bike Trip

Upon arrival on the first day of your Leh Ladakh bike trip, the local representative of Tusk Travel will meet you and assist you in transferring to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day acclimatizing to Ladakh's climate and relaxing.

After lunch, you can take a leisurely walk through the nearby places to get a feel for the city. A visit to Shanti Stupa during the evenings provides a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

On this day after breakfast start driving for Shyam Valley Excursion. The Sham Valley Tour is a one-day bike trip around 180-200 km from Leh that includes Gurudwara Pather Sahib around 25 km from Leh, Magnetic Hills around 30 kilometers from Leh towards Kargil.

The Likir Buddhist Monastery is located 52 kilometers from Leh and there is a 25 feet gold-plated Buddha statue in Likir Monastery, Alchi Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the region and is about 65 kilometers away from Leh, On visiting Sangam confluence of rivers Zanskar and Indus near Nimmu village is a great place to relax and enjoy nature's beauty. Later back to Leh for overnight stay.

Post breakfast, leave for a thrilling adventure day of bike riding towards Nubra Valley. On the way to Nubra valley, you will cross the famous Khardung La pass, around 39 Kms. Away from Leh which is one of the highest motorable passes in India. The Khardung La pass is an important route to the Siachen glacier. This gorgeous valley is a sensitive military base for the world’s highest battlefield - Siachen.

Travelers of Nubra Valley require an Inner Line Permit (ILP). The crossing has two checkpoints. Khardong is the first village in Nubra Valley to be at a higher altitude than Diskit in the other villages. The Diskit Gompa on the hilltop provides spectacular views of the valley. Hundar is a beautiful village with lots of trees, and you will enjoy your stay there. You can go for a camel safari through sand dunes for two hours from Hundar to Diskit on your own.

Today, after an early breakfast, start to drive towards famous Pangong Lake via Shyok. The spectacular journey will take you through the snow-capped Himalayas.

Pangong Lake, the world's highest saltwater lake is a visual treat with its various watercolors at a stretch, located at the border between India and China, a perfect atmosphere with blue skies and beautiful hills adds to the beauty of the lake.

Spend a little time with nature after dinner, watching the stars glitter in the clear, star-studded sky.

On this day wake up, get refreshed and have your hot breakfast at the hotel, Post breakfast proceeds for Leh. On the way, visit the beautiful town of Karu, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains on both sides and offers some of the most scenic views in the entire Ladakh region.

Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and relax. Afterward, you can go shopping in nearby markets and enjoy local food in the local markets. Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
