This Ladakh journey blends the region’s natural beauty with its most vibrant cultural celebration—the famous Hemis Festival. Explore Leh’s monasteries, cross the world-famous Khardungla Pass, ride a double-humped camel in Nubra Valley, visit the border village of Turtuk, and witness the surreal colors of Pangong Lake. The highlight is attending the Hemis Festival, known for masked Cham dances and ancient Buddhist rituals.
You will be welcomed at Leh Airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. Take it slow and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, drive to Hemis Monastery to attend the vibrant Hemis Festival, celebrated in honor of Guru Padmasambhava. Witness the sacred Cham masked dance performed by monks symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
Later, visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its 12-storey complex and impressive Maitreya Buddha statue.

Drive through Khardungla Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable passes. Continue to Nubra Valley, a high-altitude desert known for its dramatic terrain.
Visit Diskit Monastery before checking into your camp or hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a remote Balti village close to the India–Pakistan border. Explore its traditional homes, farmlands, and unique culture.
Return to Nubra for overnight stay.
Start your morning with a camel ride on Nubra’s cold-desert sand dunes, famous for double-humped Bactrian camels.
Drive back to Leh, stopping en route for lunch. Evening free for market visits and local shopping.

Drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. The journey offers views of wildlife, valleys, and rugged mountains. Pangong’s blue waters set against barren hills create a surreal landscape.
Enjoy the evening by the lakeside and have dinner at your camp.

Wake up early for sunrise at Pangong Tso. The shifting colors of the lake offer unforgettable views. After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
Spend the evening exploring cafes, markets, or simply relaxing at your hotel.

You will be transferred to Leh Airport for your flight back home. Your Ladakh and Hemis Festival journey ends with cherished memories.
