From December 4, ITA Airways will offer non-stop flights between Delhi and Rome

`From December 4, ITA Airways, Italy’s state-owned flag carrier airline, will start offering direct flights between Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome Fiumicino.

ITA Airways Delhi-Rome Flight Schedule

The airline has announced that it will operate the new route three times a week, departing from New Delhi at 03:50 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and landing at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 08:10 a.m. on the last day of the week.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, the return flight from Rome Fiumicino will depart at 2:10 p.m. and arrive at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 02:00 a.m. local time on the following morning.

The new intercontinental connection to the Asian market allows ITA Airways to expand its reach into this market even further and also strengthen its ability to attract connecting customers by tapping into traffic flows between India and North America, Germany, Spain, and France through the new intercontinental connection.

As part of the launch of the new intercontinental flight from New Delhi to Rome, ITA Airways is launching a multi-channel advertising campaign to promote the New Delhi-Rome connection. In addition to enhancing local awareness of the new Italian flag carrier’s arrival, this flight connection also allows visitors to experience the beauty of Italy and its most iconic destinations as well.

As part of the new campaign, the airline will also offer a compelling fare for its Indian customers to fly between New Delhi and Italy starting at $50914 all-inclusive as part of the new campaign. This offer will be available for purchase starting December 4th on all flight routes.

ITA Airways Winter Schedule

ITA Airways continues to expand its intercontinental network: ITA Airways will serve 51 destinations in the winter season, nine of which are intercontinental, 22 of which are international, and 20 are domestic. As part of its long-haul expansion program, the airline will primarily focus on launching several significant new routes, including New Delhi, Tokyo-Haneda which was recently launched, as well as the Maldives (Malé), which is scheduled to open on December 17.

Earlier this year, new routes were opened to New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.

It has been recently announced that the Company is planning to open additional new intercontinental destinations by 2023, including direct flights from Rome Fiumicino to San Francisco and Washington in the United States, and Rio de Janeiro in South America. It has also announced that with the entry of new A321Neo aircraft into the fleet, the airline will be able to fly to destinations in the Middle East, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Kuwait City.
