As reported by the media, there will soon be direct flights set up between India and Cambodia as of next month. According to the news reports, both countries have decided to establish direct air links to promote tourism in both regions.

As a result, the Indian Ambassador to Cambodia, Devyani Khobragade, stated that they would like to establish direct air links between India and Cambodia. This is in order to boost tourism in the country. As she explained, when there are direct flights between Cambodia and India, people would want to visit Angkor Wat and the land of Buddha.
Angkor Wat is to Cambodia what the Taj Mahal is to India. As a result of this development, travelers from both countries will be able to explore these ancient structures much easier than before.
