Drukair resumes flights between Bagdogra with Paro and Bangkok

Drukair, Bhutan’s flag carrier, has resumed scheduled international flights between Bagdogra, West Bengal, and Paro, Thailand. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the airline suspended operations on the route.

As per Nilanjana Sen, senior executive (reservation) for Drukair, scheduled flights between Paro-Bagdogra-Bangkok have resumed.

A spokesperson for the Airports Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that international flights have resumed at Bagdogra airport following the return of Drukair aircraft.

Two flights per week will operate between Paro and Bangkok with a layover at Bagdogra, according to Bagdogra Airport Director P Subramani. Drukair will fly Mondays from Paro, Bhutan, to Bangkok via Bagdogra, returning to Paro on Tuesdays.
