Visit the historic buildings and monasteries in Paro, and then visit the National Library in Thimphu to see the sacred religious books and manuscripts, and then meander around Punakha's most beautiful Dzong. Finally, return to Paro and hike to Bhutan's most famous monument, the Tiger's Nest.

After breakfast, take a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. On the second day, you will see the Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, which are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning guided tour in the Thimphu Valley including the visit of the National Library, the Zorig Institute.
Lunch at the restaurant in town. In the afternoon, we will visit 16th-century Pangri Zampa and Takin Preserve.
Next, visit Trashichhoedzong, the "fortress of the glorious religion". Free time in Thimphu to see its shops and local market.

Breakfast at the Hotel. In the morning we will go to Punakha through the Dochula pass of 3,080 m. Dochu La (mountain pass) offers the most spectacular views of the high peaks of the eastern Himalayas on a clear day.
Some of the most spectacular peaks over 7000 are visible, Jejegangphugang (7,158 m), Kangphugang (7,170 m), and the highest in Bhutan - Puensum Gangkar at 7,497 meters. Stop for Lunch at a local restaurant then we continue the road to Punakha at an altitude of 1300m).

Breakfast at the Hotel. Tomorrow, we visit Satsam Chorten, and we will visit Taktshang Monastery (also called the Tiger's nest) on foot.
Lunch at the famous Taktsang cafe - views of the tiger's nest hanging on the cliff. Afternoon return to the city.
Free time. Farewell dinner in the afternoon with the local traditional musical band playing in the background. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Breakfast at the Hotel. In the morning, transfer to Paro airport to take the flight To Kathmandu.
