Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Paro Airport on one of the world’s most scenic flights, offering views of Himalayan peaks including Mount Jomolhari on clear days. After meeting your guide, transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, begin sightseeing with a visit to Ta Dzong (National Museum), followed by Paro Rinpung Dzong, an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Paro Valley. Continue to Dungtse Lhakhang, a unique chorten-style temple.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, crossing Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan. Continue to Dochula Pass (3,140 m), famous for its 108 memorial chortens and panoramic Himalayan views.
Descend into the warmer Punakha Valley and check in at the hotel. The evening is free to relax amidst riverside scenery.

Visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most impressive fortresses, dramatically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
