Detailed Itinerary
Arrival at Paro Airport, one of the most scenic mountain airports in the world. After meeting your guide, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. Begin sightseeing with a visit to the massive Buddha Dordenma statue offering sweeping views of the valley.
Continue to the Memorial Chorten, a revered site where locals gather for prayer, followed by a visit to the Takin enclosure, home to Bhutan’s national animal. Conclude the Thimphu tour at Tashichho Dzong before returning to Paro.

Early morning start for the highlight of the trip — the hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliff, this sacred site offers spiritual depth and breathtaking views. The round hike takes approximately 4–5 hours.
Later, visit the National Museum housed in a historic watchtower, followed by Paro Dzong, a stunning fortress monastery overlooking the river. End the day at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, before exploring Paro town.
