Chokramudi Peak Munnar, Kerala
It is a hill which is a fantastic sight view. It is located at an altitude of 7200 ft. above sea level. This impressive peak is situated in the Eravikulam national park. The peak is surrounded by lush green Shola forest. The place is perfect for trekking purpose. The trekking covers a very short distance and can be finished within one day. Visitors get a very healthy experience after visiting this place. The dense and lush green forests are unique to trek. People can also enjoy a view of Anamudi peak and Idukki dam situated at a short distance from this place.
The trekking is very excellent here. It takes almost 3 to 5 hrs fir covering a distance of 10 kms. But trekking monsoon season is not good as it is slippery at that time, and it can be dangerous for visitors. So people avoid monsoon season for visiting this place.

How to reach chokramudi peak
To visit this spot, it will cover the whole day of visitors. The place covers a distance of 16 km from the Madurai SH gap road. People can quickly get a state bus KSRTC from Munnar and can reach there. From Munnar city, it covers a distance of 22 kms from Munnar main town. The place is sandwiched between bison valley and Munnar.
