With a height of 8,842 feet, Anamudi gets the honour of being the highest peak in the southern part of India. It is a perfect Paradise for both trekkers and photographers. The road connecting Munnar City Centre to Anamudi is smooth. Some people like to reach Anamudi directly from the Munnar City Centre, while others prefer trekking to Anamudi from Eravikulam National Park. And people can reach Eravikulam National Park through any transport facility they like.

Both winter and springtime are considered to be the best to visit Anamudi. This is the time when the temperature is fantastic, and one can feel the cool breezes blowing. It is just perfect during this period, neither too cold nor too hot, just perfect.
