From there, visit Tirupati, a popular pilgrimage site, to offer prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple.

The next day, explore Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram, known for their ancient temples and UNESCO World Heritage sites. The journey then takes you to the former French colony of Pondicherry, where you can witness the unique blend of Indian and French cultures. Continue your journey to visit the Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram and the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Tanjore, two of the most significant temples in South India. Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrival at Chennai

Your tour begins when you arrive at Chennai International airport. You will be greeted by our tour representative.

He will take you to a hotel, and perform all check-in formalities.

Your overnight stay is arranged in the hotel.

Day 2 :Chennai Sightseeing

Your sightseeing will begin today. After enjoying a lip-smacking breakfast, you will visit the capital of Chennai, Tamil Nadu that is located on the coromandel coast.

Some of the other attractions that you will see are Parthasarathy Temple, Adeeswar Temple, Kapaleeshwar Temple, and more.

Chennai is also widely known for its alluring beaches. Unwind yourself on Marina beach, that is considered to be one of the world’s longest beaches.

Return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Chennai – Tirupati - Chennai

After having breakfast in the hotel, your journey starts with the sacred Hindu Pilgrimage “Tirupati Temple”. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s incarnation, Lord Sri Venkateswara.

Looking in terms of donations received, this temple is regarded as the “richest temple” in the whole world. After a blissful darshan at this temple, you will now return to Chennai city.

Day 4 :Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

On the fourth day of this tour, you will be exploring two popular architecture and heritage cities in Chennai. These are Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram.

Kanchipuram offers a beautiful sightseeing experience of Ekambareshwrar temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, and Kamakshi Amman Temple.

Seeing all these beautiful and historic temples will make it one of the most memorable events of your life. If you have time, don’t miss to visit the silk weaving workshops of Kanchipuram and monuments that are listed as “UNESCO heritage sites”.

Day 5 :Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

After having a good breakfast, you will checkout from the hotel and drive to Pondicherry. This state is known for its rich culture and history.

Some of the worth noting attractions of this place are the promenade beach, Manakula Vinayagar Devasthanam Temple, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, French war memorial, and Mahatma Gandhi Statue.

One of the best ways to spend your evening is taking a walk in the French colony. Relax in the hotel and spend a comfortable night.

Day 6 :Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore

Next thing is to drive to Tanjore, the land of incredible Chola Temples. You will be going to Tanjore via Thillai Natraja Temple, situated in Chidambaram town. This temple is a prominent memorial of Lord Shiva worship.

An overnight stay is planned at the hotel at Tanjore.

Day 7 :Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai

After a delectable breakfast, the trip begins with a thousand-year-old ancient “Brihadeeshwar” Temple. You will be spellbound witnessing the beauty of the classy Chola Temples.

You will now leave for another glorious city on this tour, Madurai via Tiruchirappalli. The artistic Fortress of Trichy and sculpted temples like Jambukeswarar Temple, Rockfort Temple, and Sri Rangnathaswamy Temple will leave you dazzled.

After visiting these temples, you will check into the hotel in Madurai followed by an overnight there.

Day 8 :Madurai Sightseeing

You will get one entire day to explore this wonderful Madurai city. You can choose to visit a popular pilgrimage destination Meenakshi Amman Temple”, and the historical shrine “Tirumalai Nayak Palace”.

Relax in the hotel. Meenakshi Temple is known for its beautiful night ceremony that you must surely attend. After dinner, a trip to this temple is arranged.

Overnight stay at Madurai hotel.

Day 9 :Madurai – Rameshwaram

After having a good breakfast at Madurai, you will now check out from there and head to Rameshwaram. This place is situated on an island and is known for its popular Ramnathaswamy Temple.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. After taking darshan and attending the pooja ceremony at this temple, you will return back to the hotel.

Spend the night at a hotel in Rameshwaram.

Day 10 :Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is a beautiful destination covered on this tour. So, after a trip to Rameshwaram, you will drive to this beautiful coastal town via a scenic drive.

On your drive to Kanyakumari, you will be halting at another famous temple named “Thiruchendur Murugun”. While driving to Kanyakumari, you can enjoy the spectacular sunset view of “Kanyakumari shore”.

An overnight stay is planned at Kanyakumari.

Day 11 :Kanyakumari - Kovalam

In the daytime, you will be visiting historically significant places and pilgrimage sites of Kanyakumari. Some of the well-known temples in Kanyakumari are the Thiruvallur statue, Gandhi Mandapam, and Kanyakumari Amman Temple.

Rest at an enchanting and peaceful Kovalam beach which is one of the most popular and peaceful beaches in South India.

Spend a relaxing night at a hotel in Kovalam.

Day 12 :Kovalam – Trivandrum - Departure

This is the last day of this splendid temple tour. Kovalam is the last destination to visit on this tour. You will then head back to the closest Trivandrum international airport.

From there, you can go back home with all these beautiful memories of the tour.
