This route blends three of India’s biggest travel experiences: the white-marble grandeur of the Taj Mahal, the thrill of tiger safaris, and the ancient temple architecture of South India. You’ll begin in historic Delhi, continue through Mughal-era Agra, explore the jungles of Ranthambore, and discover royal heritage in Jaipur.
In South India, the journey flows through timeless temple cities, French-influenced coastlines and cultural capitals such as Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, Thanjavur, and Madurai.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Delhi. Meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to unwind or explore local markets at your own pace.
Enjoy a full-day tour of Delhi covering heritage quarters, colonial avenues and cultural areas. Explore the contrasts of Old Delhi’s bustling lanes and New Delhi’s tree-lined boulevards. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Drive to Agra, the city that once shaped the Mughal Empire. Visit key monuments and local markets before settling into your hotel.
Start early to witness the sunrise glow on the Taj Mahal. After breakfast, proceed toward Ranthambore, stopping at the historic Mughal city en route. Check in at the wildlife lodge.
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside Ranthambore National Park. Experience tiger territory, diverse wildlife and scenic forest landscapes.
Travel to Jaipur, the Pink City known for its royal architecture. Evening free for local markets and leisure.
Full-day guided sightseeing of Jaipur’s landmarks, historic forts, royal museums and heritage zones. Evening free to enjoy traditional bazaars.
Fly to Chennai. On arrival, meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free.
Explore Chennai’s colonial-era landmarks, old temples, coastal neighbourhoods and heritage avenues. Evening visit to the seafront promenade.
Drive to the temple city of Kanchipuram. Continue to coastal Mahabalipuram and explore its rock-cut architecture and heritage monuments.
Travel to Pondicherry. Explore French Quarter lanes, temples, beaches and local cafés. Evening free by the promenade.
Drive to Thanjavur via Chidambaram’s cultural heartland. Continue to Thanjavur, one of Tamil Nadu’s major temple cities.
Explore Thanjavur’s cultural sites before driving to the temple town of Kumbakonam. Return to Thanjavur for overnight stay.
Guided sightseeing in Madurai covering temples, palace architecture, cultural neighborhoods and traditional markets.
Drive to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. Visit coastal landmarks and enjoy oceanfront views.
Transfer to Trivandrum International Airport for your onward journey.

- Sightseeing may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, local restrictions or monument closures.
- The final written quotation will confirm the exact inclusions, exclusions and services.
- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
