Blossom Hydel Park Munnar, Kerala

How to reach here

It is somewhat 1.3 km from the Munnar city centre. It is such a short distance which can be easily covered by automobiles. However, most of the tourists like to take a  short walk to cover the distance. Other than that, it is also close to the Pallivasal hydroelectric project.

1.Reserved zone for children

There is a deserved zone in Blossom Hydel park for children. This reserved area has sandpits, swings, hammocks and many other beautiful things which your child definitely will enjoy. This area is reserved so that children can play among other children and enjoy themselves.

The river Mathirapuzha passes the Blossom Hydel Park, making it perfect for activities like boating.

3.Bird Watching

Another popular thing to do here is bird watching. A large plethora of birds hovering in the park can be spotted easily.

The best time to visit the Blossom Hydel Park

In September-March, the beauty of the park remains at its peak with all its greenery around. This time period is considered the ideal time for visiting here by most of its visitors. Moreover, it gets the maximum number of its visitors in this time period.

For children below 12 years of age – 2 INR

For everyone above 12  years of age– 10 INR
