It is a private park, and it is revealed from its name that it is an elephant park. In this park, riding on an elephant is very popular. People always go for a  ride with the elephant in the hilly routes of the forest. However, visitors also get some foods to feed the elephants. The kids mostly love the park. This park provided a ride for 25 minutes to 1 hour. However, it also includes a ride for the whole day. In this people get knowledge about the elephants. They also get to know about the communications with the elephant and how elephants react tothe human voice as well

Visitors visit and try to interact with an elephant. During rides, visitors also can take a break for their refreshments. People can also take photographs, but they have to pay an additional charge for photography. However, visitors can also hire photographers at an additional charge of INR 250. The park is the perfect option for spending times with families and kids as well.

How to reach Carmelagiri elephant park

The park covers a distance of 7 km from the Munnar bus station. It is a private elephant park. People can easily reach there by cab and auto-rickshaw as well. From Mattupetty dam people can easily reach there as from there, it covers a distance of only 4.6 kms. Buses which KSRTC runs, visitors can use this as well.

Nearest airport- Cochin international airport, which is at a distance of 111.1 km from the park.
