On June 21, IRCTC will run its first Bharat Gaurav Tourist train along the Ramayana Circuit as planned under the Swadesh Darshan program. The itinerary will include all the major places that are connected to The life and times of Lord Rama. Also, the train is scheduled to stop at the renowned Ram Janaki temple in Janakpur, Nepal.
It is the Bharat Gaurav Tourist train trip is an 18-day spiritual journey covering various parts of India and Janakpur in Nepal by train and other portions via road. The trip will depart at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station and will begin with a stop being Ayodhya which is the place of birth of Lord Rama. The first attraction is The Shri Ram Janmabhumi temple and then the Hanuman temple as well as Bharat Mandir in Nandigram.
The train will arrive at Buxar, Bihar, for an excursion to the hermitage in the name of Maharishi Vishwamitra and the Ramrekha Ghat. As the train continues, the next stop will be Sitamarhi in Bihar, which is where Sita was born. The group will travel on a trip to Janakpur, Nepal, to visit the Ram Janaki Temple.
