12 days of Trans Arunachal Drive event to begin on May 1

The Trans Arunachal event will take you to some of the most revered Arunachal places and will open the new world filled with beautiful culture and traditions.

Arunachal Pradesh will host its 2nd Trans Arunachal Drive, starting on May 1st, 2022. This event is planned through the Department of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and is designed to showcase the tourist attractions, destinations, and biodiversity locations. The festival also gives you an insight into the state’s progress towards modernity.

The event is scheduled in conjunction with the state department program “Dekho Apna Desh, Dekho Apna Pradesh.” It is a 12-day road trip that covers 2000 kilometers. This is because the Trans-Arunachal Highway is an under-construction project for a highway in the state, and it has two lanes. The event will begin from Roing.

The journey will run between Roing to Anini which is considered to be the least explored area of the state. to Bomjir which is located within the Lower Dibang Valley district; Mehuka well-known for its medicinal snow-fed rivers along with streams Pasighat an old town, to the town of Pakke-Kessang; which is where you can discover Pakke Tiger Reserve. Pakke Tiger Reserve and the gorgeous kiwi and apple orchards of Dirang and, finally, to the beautiful apple orchards of Dirang I Tawang on May 13.

This is, therefore, an epic 12-day adventure that gives you the chance to discover the breathtaking splendor that is Arunachal Pradesh. The festival also provides an opportunity for tourists to discover the rich history of Arunachal Pradesh.
