The Indian Railways will run special tourist trains to Vaishno Devi on Navratri

Introducing the newly-launched Bharat Gaurav Rake on September 30, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the launch of a Navratri Special Tourist Train for Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.

This tourist train will run to Katra for five days and four nights from September 30, 2022. According to reports, the journey will start from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station with 11 dedicated 3 Tier AC Coaches that will accommodate 600 tourists in one fixed departure.

A two-night stay in Katra is available for tourists, too, with a price of INR 11990 per person.

Bharat Gaurav trains are equipped with CCTV cameras, pantry cars, security guards, and other amenities. According to reports, artwork based on ancient Indian texts has adorned the train’s interior.

During the journey, passengers are expected to feel a festive atmosphere inside the train due to the train’s beautifully decorated interior.

According to CPRO of IRCTC Anand Kumar Jha, the all-inclusive package price will include a train journey in 3rd AC, all transfers and sightseeing by bus; night stays at AC hotels, meals (veg only), travel insurance, and guide services. In addition, all necessary health precautions will be taken, and all staff will undergo a thorough screening process. The kitchen will also be cleaned and sanitized after every meal service.

Further, all guests over 18 years of age will be required to get the COVID-19 final vaccination. The IRCTC has also partnered with Paytm and Razorpay payment gateways to provide EMI options for breaking the total payment into small amounts.
