SpiceJet introduces first & only non-stop flight on the Delhi-Tirupati route

SpiceJet announced will operate flights on this route three times each week to accommodate this demand, beginning on October 17. Since the beginning of October, the frequency will be raised to four times each week.

SpiceJet has begun operating non-stop flights between the national capital Delhi and the city of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, making it the first and only airline in the country to do so. The flights began on October 17, making SpiceJet the first and only airline in the country. Tirupati is already served by the airline’s network, which also includes connections to Hyderabad and Pune.

SpiceJet will initially run flights on this route three times one week (on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays), with flights departing from Mumbai. From October 31, the frequency will be raised to four times a week, including Mondays, except for Sundays. On this route, the budget airline will use its Boeing 737 aircraft as its primary mode of transportation. Bookings are currently being accepted.

With the existence of Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Civil Aviation, General (Dr) VK Singh (Retd), Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, and Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel, Member of Parliament for Tirupati, Maddila Gurumoorthy, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Usha Padhee, and SpiceJet’s Chief Executive Officer.

According to SpiceJet’s Chief Commercial Officer, Shilpa Bhatia, “We are pleased to integrate Delhi with Tirupati, among the most popular visitor destinations of worship in the world, with an industry-first non-stop flight on our network,” in a statement. Our non – stop service will also provide pilgrims travelling to the holy place with more comfort and reachability, and we are sure that this route will experience a significant increase in tourism industry traffic.”

The town of Tirupati, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, is notable for its temple, one of most notable and prominent of which being Sri Venkateswara Temple, which is located amid one of the seven peaks of the Tirumala Hills at an elevation of about 860 meters and is the most visited.
