5 Nights 6 Days Andaman Tour Package

5 Nights 6 Days Andaman Tour Package

5 Nights / 6 days Port Blair - Havelock Island - Neil Island – Port Blair

A Tropical Island Journey Beyond Mainland India

This 5-night, 6-day Andaman tour package is designed for travellers who want to combine tropical beaches, island-hopping, marine activities and important Indian history within a manageable holiday. The journey covers Port Blair, Havelock Island and Neil Island, with pre-arranged airport, hotel, ferry and sightseeing transfers.

Begin in Port Blair, officially called Sri Vijaya Puram, with a visit to Cellular Jail and its evening Light and Sound Show. Continue by ferry to Havelock Island, officially Swaraj Dweep, for Radhanagar Beach and a weather-dependent excursion to Elephant Beach.

The journey then moves to Neil Island, officially Shaheed Dweep, where quiet beaches, village scenery and the Natural Bridge create a slower island experience. A final night in Port Blair provides a sensible buffer before your flight, reducing the risk of a same-day ferry delay affecting your onward journey.

Why Choose This Andaman Itinerary?

Six days allows enough time to experience the Andaman Islands without changing hotels every night. Two nights on Havelock provide space for both Radhanagar Beach and Elephant Beach, while the Neil Island stay adds a quieter coastal landscape that day-trip visitors often miss.

The programme combines guided historical sightseeing with independent beach time. It works particularly well for couples, honeymooners, families and first-time visitors who want an organised island holiday without losing the freedom to relax.

What International Travellers Should Know

Most overseas visitors reach Port Blair on a domestic flight from an Indian gateway city such as Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. International flights, Indian visas and mainland hotel stays are not automatically included unless listed in the final quotation.

Ferry departures, boat excursions and water activities remain dependent on weather, tides, sea conditions and local permissions. Travellers should keep their passport or approved identification accessible because ferry tickets are issued using passenger details.

Practical Travel Notes

  • Inter-island ferry tickets should be booked early, particularly from October to March.
  • Passenger names on ferry bookings must match the identification presented at check-in.
  • Elephant Beach excursions and water sports may be cancelled during rough sea conditions.
  • The Natural Bridge on Neil Island is best approached around low tide.
  • Mobile coverage, internet access and card payments can be limited on the islands.
  • Use reef-safe sunscreen and never touch, stand on or remove coral.

Tour Highlights

  • Visit Cellular Jail and attend its Light and Sound Show.
  • Travel between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island by ferry.
  • Watch the sunset at Radhanagar Beach.
  • Take a boat excursion to Elephant Beach.
  • Choose from seasonal snorkelling and marine activities.
  • Explore the Natural Bridge and Laxmanpur Beach.
  • Relax beside the shallow waters of Bharatpur Beach.
  • Receive pre-arranged airport, jetty and hotel transfers.

6 Days Andaman Trip Itinerary

Arrive at Veer Savarkar International Airport in Sri Vijaya Puram, the official name of Port Blair and the main gateway to the Andaman Islands. After collecting your baggage, meet the local representative in the arrivals area and transfer by private vehicle to your hotel.

If your flight arrives by late morning or early afternoon, begin with a relaxed visit to Corbyn's Cove Beach before exploring the Cellular Jail National Memorial. The museum galleries, preserved cells and watchtowers provide important context about the role of the Andaman Islands in India's independence movement.

In the evening, attend the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail, subject to ticket availability, language schedule, weather and operational conditions. Travellers arriving on a late flight will have the sightseeing adjusted rather than rushed. Overnight in Port Blair.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the designated jetty for the ferry to Swaraj Dweep, commonly known as Havelock Island. The crossing usually takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the vessel, departure jetty and sea conditions.

Carry the identification used for booking and report within the time stated on the ferry ticket. On arrival at Havelock Jetty, collect your luggage and meet the island representative outside the arrival area for the transfer to your hotel.

Later, visit Radhanagar Beach, known for its broad sandy shoreline, forest backdrop and sunset views. Swimming is possible only when local conditions are safe, so follow lifeguard instructions and warning signs. Return to the hotel after sunset. Overnight on Havelock Island.

After breakfast, proceed to the jetty for a shared speedboat excursion to Elephant Beach. The beach is one of Havelock's main marine-activity locations and is known for its shallow reef areas, tropical water and forested shoreline.

Spend time relaxing on the beach or choose from seasonal activities such as snorkelling, a glass-bottom boat ride, sea walking or other water sports. Only activities specifically listed in the confirmed package are included; optional experiences are payable locally. Travellers should use registered operators, wear the supplied safety equipment and disclose relevant medical conditions before participating.

The excursion depends entirely on tides, visibility, wind and sea conditions. If boat operations are suspended, an alternative beach visit or free time on Havelock will be arranged where practical. The later afternoon is free to relax at the hotel or explore nearby cafés and beaches independently. Overnight on Havelock Island.

Enjoy breakfast and check out before transferring to Havelock Jetty. Board the scheduled inter-island ferry to Shaheed Dweep, still widely known as Neil Island. The sailing normally takes approximately one hour, but the exact departure and journey time will be confirmed with the ferry ticket.

On arrival, meet the local representative and transfer to your hotel. The day's sightseeing will be planned around the ferry schedule and tide table. Visit the Natural Bridge near Laxmanpur Beach when low-tide access makes the rocky coastal approach safer, and wear footwear with a secure grip for the uneven coral surface.

Continue to Laxmanpur Beach for a quiet shoreline walk and, when timing permits, sunset views. Shaheed Dweep is smaller and less developed than Havelock, so mobile connectivity, card payments and late-evening services can be limited. Carry some cash for minor personal expenses. Overnight on Neil Island.

After breakfast, visit Bharatpur Beach if the day's ferry departure provides sufficient time. Its shallow coastal setting is popular for relaxed beach time and optional activities such as snorkelling and glass-bottom boat rides. Water clarity and activity availability vary with tides and weather.

Return to the hotel, check out and transfer to Neil Island Jetty. Board the scheduled ferry to Port Blair with all your luggage and travel documents. On arrival, meet the representative at the designated exit and continue by private vehicle to the hotel.

Keeping the final night in Port Blair provides a sensible buffer before the onward flight and avoids depending on a same-day inter-island ferry connection. The evening is free for rest or last-minute shopping at a local market, depending on arrival time. Overnight in Port Blair.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Veer Savarkar International Airport according to your confirmed flight schedule. Hotel check-out time and breakfast availability will depend on the departure hour.

Most international visitors leave the Andaman Islands on a domestic flight to an Indian gateway city before connecting with their international service. Allow a comfortable connection between separately issued tickets, as airlines may not protect an onward booking when the reservations are unrelated.

Your five-night, six-day Andaman tour ends at the airport drop-off. Additional nights in Port Blair, Havelock Island or Neil Island can be added for travellers who prefer more diving, beach time or flexibility around weather-sensitive activities.

Planning Your Andaman Island Holiday

Frequently Asked Questions

Six days is enough for a well-planned first visit covering Port Blair, Havelock Island and Neil Island. The itinerary includes Cellular Jail, Radhanagar Beach, Elephant Beach, the Natural Bridge and Bharatpur Beach without attempting too many distant islands. Travellers wanting scuba diving, additional beach time or greater protection against weather disruption should consider adding one or two nights on Havelock.

October to May generally offers the best conditions for ferries, beach visits and water activities. November to February has comfortable weather but is also the busiest period, so hotels and ferry tickets should be reserved early. March to May is warmer and more humid. June to September brings heavier rain, rougher seas and a greater possibility of ferry or activity cancellations.

International visitors should carry their original passport and a valid Indian visa throughout the tour. Ferry reservations must use the same name shown on the travel document. Restricted Area Permission requirements depend on nationality and current government policy. Travellers from certain countries, or those with specified national origins, may require prior approval. These requirements should be checked before confirming flights and ferries.

Inter-island ferry tickets are included only when specifically listed in the final quotation. Private and government ferries operate on these routes, and the selected service depends on schedule and availability. Passengers must report at the jetty within the time shown on the ticket and carry the original identification used for booking. Ferry class, luggage allowance and cancellation conditions will be confirmed before travel.

Only activities clearly mentioned in the confirmed package are included. Optional snorkelling, scuba diving, sea walking, kayaking and glass-bottom boat trips are normally charged separately. Availability depends on age, health, weather, visibility and local operating permissions. Travellers should use registered operators, wear the provided safety equipment and disclose medical conditions before participating.

Ferry and excursion operators may delay, reschedule or cancel services because of rough seas, heavy rain, technical issues or official restrictions. When this happens, the local team will try to arrange the next suitable service or an alternative sightseeing plan. Any refund depends on the operator's terms. The itinerary wisely returns to Port Blair one day before departure, reducing the risk of a ferry disruption affecting your flight.

Yes. Hotel category, ferry class, room type and included activities can be changed. Additional nights can be added on Havelock or Neil Island, and experiences such as introductory scuba diving, mangrove kayaking or a private photography tour can be requested. The final plan should be based on your mainland flights, travel dates, ages, swimming ability and preferred balance between activities and relaxation.
