We provide India tours and yoga retreats. For those interested in spiritual, cultural, historical, and yogic aspects of India, this retreat is the perfect choice. In addition to exploring the varied cultures and traditions of India, this tour includes Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Arrival in New Delhi!

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transported to your centrally located hotel.

Delhi has a 3000-year history with seven main cities built and destroyed over the years.

The city reflects its cultural diversity through its architecture.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 :Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Old Delhi, exploring the Indo-Islamic culture and everyday life. Visit Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and Humayun’s Tomb.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3 :From New Delhi to Haridwar

After breakfast, travel to Haridwar by train. Haridwar is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site, and visiting it is believed to give release from the endless cycle of birth and death.

Visit the Mansa Devi temple and take a guided walk to explore the ghats of the Ganges. Witness the evening ceremony of Ganga Aarti, a significant Hindu ritual.

Overnight in Haridwar.

Day 4 :Drive to Rishikesh, Explore Rishikesh

The Day 4 itinerary of the yoga tour in India includes a drive to Rishikesh, a town located in the foothills of the Himalayas, which is known as the "Yoga Capital of the World". Visitors can explore the town's many temples, ashrams, and spiritual hermitages.

The itinerary also includes a guided tour of the town, where visitors can see attractions such as the Laxman Jhula bridge, the 13-story Hindu temple, Geeta Bhawan, and various ashrams like Swarg Ashram and Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

Additionally, visitors can participate in the Ganga Aarti ceremony, which is a ritual to offer thanks to the Ganges river. The day ends with a yoga and meditation class in the evening. Visitors also have the option to spend the night at a hotel or one of the well-known Ashrams like the Parmarth Ashram.

Day 5 :Rishikesh

Participate in a yoga class at the yoga center in Rishikesh and learn about stretching and breath awareness. Enjoy a yoga and traditional meditation class with a visiting instructor in the evening. Optional white-water rafting on the river if the weather permits.

Day 6 :Rishikesh

Rise early for an asana yoga session, relaxation and Yoga Nidra. Tour Rishikesh, visiting the Triveni Ghat and Rishikund.

Try some western delights at the German Bakery or Little Buddha Cafe. Spend the evening in yoga and traditional meditation sessions with a visiting teacher.

Day 7 :Rishikesh

Start the day with PRANAYAM, a breathing control practice, and dynamic yoga.

Visit Vashist Gufa and experience its tranquil environment, away from the hustle and noise.

Wind down the evening with a lecture and meditation.

Day 8 :Rishikesh - Delhi

Participate in VIPASANA meditation in the morning, followed by advanced techniques of Yoga and Pranayama Yoga.

Take the train back to New Delhi in the late afternoon and spend the night in Delhi.

Day 9 :Delhi - Agra

Travel to Agra and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Agra Fort, followed by Mehtab Bagh, a garden designed with a Persian style on the opposite side of the river from the Taj Mahal.

Learn how to prepare Indian cuisine with an Indian family.

Day 10 :Agra - Jaipur

In the morning, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Then drive to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned Mughal city, en route. Once in Jaipur, explore the Pink City, where buildings are predominantly made of pink sandstone.

Spend the night in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 11 :Jaipur

Begin the day exploring the Hawa Mahal, with its intricately carved windows, before visiting the historic Amber Fort, either by jeep or elephant ride. The fort has elaborate royal rooms with jali-works and murals.

Visit the City Palace and its impressive palaces, courtyards, and gardens, and Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site and ancient solar observatory. Take a guided walk around the local bazaar before an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani Village Resort.

Spend the night in Jaipur.

Day 12 :Jaipur - Delhi

Travel back to Delhi to conclude the Yoga India Tour, leaving with a new sense of spirituality.
