Agra Fort, Agra
It is a historical fort that lies in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier it was found that it was the primary residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638. Still, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi, their residence was also shifted. It was built between the years 1565 to 1573. Earlier it was started by Mughal emperor Akbar, but after that, it was shifted to his grandson Shah Jahan who has added most of the marbles in the fort that looks more amazing and attractive.
Earlier it was ruled by Marathas. Later, it was captured by the British. In the year of 1983, it was described as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also called the sister of the Taj Mahal. It is a very relaxing and amicable place for visitors. When you visit the Taj Mahal, then don't forget to visit this fantastic place; however, it is not all open to the public.
