Mehtab Bagh, Agra

Mehtab Bagh is located near the Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and on the opposite side of the Yamuna River. It is crescent-shaped that looks amazing and liked by most of the tourists. It has a history that is told by tourist guides and locals who lived in Agra, and visitors love to hear this. Also known by the name of moonlight garden, it was built by Emperor Babur in the early 1500s, and the breadth of the gardens absolutely aligns with those of the Taj Mahal. Earlier it was famous as the name of moonlight pleasure garden when Emperor Shah Jahan found it as the perfect site from which to admire this fantastic crypt.
