Explore private Spiti Valley tour packages designed for travellers interested in high-altitude landscapes, remote Himalayan villages, monasteries and scenic road journeys. Spiti itineraries often connect places such as Kaza, Tabo, Kibber, Kalpa, Sangla, Manali or Shimla, depending on the route and season. The tours displayed here are selected only when Spiti Valley is genuinely included in the master itinerary route, keeping the page focused on relevant journeys. Each package can be customised around your travel dates, number of nights, preferred pace and overnight stops. Because Spiti trips usually involve longer road travel and changing mountain conditions, a flexible private itinerary can be especially valuable. This page helps travellers compare Spiti-focused options without being shown unrelated Himachal tours.

Spiti Valley Tours

Long winding valleys and roads presents unforgettable sights of snow-crowned and cold desert mountains that greets you when you step in this valley. Surrounded by the Himalayas, Spiti Valley is located at a height of 12,500 feet over the sea level. Spiti Valley separates Tibet from India. It has a very low population and is referred to as a paradise of adventure lovers. There are several trekking trails in the city that delights tourists from all parts of the world. All these treks begin from Kaza (the camping place) to several peaks to get scenic views of the Himalayan range.

A 1.5 km trek through the Spiti river covering Dhankar Monastery and Dhankar Lake provides gorgeous scenes of the village. Dhankar Lake is the ideal place to relax amongst the cool mountain breeze. The hill ropeway that goes from Chichum to Kibber is a popular attraction for tourists. It provides wonderful views of the gorge and captivating views of the enclosing mountain peaks.

An interesting thing about this valley is that it gets only 250 days of sunlight in the whole year. This makes it one of the chilling places in the country. The thick snow-covered Himalayan mountain range in the winters cuts off Spiti off from the remaining parts of the country for six months in a year. The summer is the time when Spiti is accessible through motorways.
