Tour Overview
Spiti, meaning “The Middle Land”, sits between India and Tibet and is one of the most dramatic high-altitude desert regions in the Himalayas. This specially crafted Spiti Valley tour takes you through mountain passes, ancient monasteries, remote villages and star-lit desert camps. Start your journey from Delhi, cross Manali’s lush valleys, climb over Rohtang and Kunzum Pass and finally reach the rugged beauty of Kaza and its surrounding villages.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Manali, check into your hotel and refresh. Head out to explore key sights including Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Village, Old Manali and the cafés along Mall Road.
Overnight stay in Manali.
After breakfast, begin your drive to the high-altitude deserts of Spiti. Cross the iconic Rohtang Pass and drive towards the rugged landscapes of Lahaul.
Continue to Kunzum Pass (14,931 ft), gateway to Spiti Valley, before descending towards Kaza.
Arrive by evening and check into your hotel/camp.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Start early and visit the 1000-year-old Key Monastery, the most important gompa in Spiti.
Continue to Pin Valley to see Kungri Monastery, Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery. Enjoy the serene beauty of Mud Village and Tailing Bridge.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Enjoy a full-day excursion to the high-altitude villages of Spiti. Visit Komic, the highest village connected by a motorable road.
Continue to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and send a unique postcard home.
End the day at Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and fossil-filled meadows.
Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Check out after breakfast and start your journey toward Chandratal. Visit Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest bridge, and continue to Kibber Village.
Cross Kunzum Pass again and reach the moon-shaped Chandratal Lake by evening. Check into your campsite and enjoy a magical night under the Milky Way.
Overnight camping at Chandratal.
Have breakfast and start your return journey. Drive across Rohtang Pass and reach Manali by afternoon.
Spend some time at cafés or local markets before leaving for Delhi in the evening.
Tour ends with unforgettable Himalayan memories.

- The balance is payable 15 days before the tour or upon arrival in India, if agreed in advance.
- Payments must be made using the official bank or secure payment details provided by Tusk Travel.
- International transfer, card-processing and currency-conversion charges are payable by the traveller.
- 60 days or more before arrival: 10% cancellation charge.
- 59–30 days before arrival: 20% cancellation charge.
- 29–15 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
- 14–8 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
- 7 days or less before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Issued flight, train, permit and special-event bookings may be non-refundable.
