This 7-day Spiti Valley tour is designed for travellers who want to experience the dramatic landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, high-altitude villages and peaceful Himalayan culture of Himachal Pradesh. The route takes you across Atal Tunnel, Chhatru, Batal and Kunzum Pass before entering the cold desert region of Spiti. Along the way, you will see changing landscapes, rugged valleys, glacial streams, barren mountains and remote settlements that make this region one of the most beautiful road trips in India.
Kaza works as the main base for exploring Spiti’s famous attractions. From here, you will visit Key Monastery, Kibber village, Chicham Bridge, Hikkim Post Office, Komic village and Langza, known for its Buddha statue and fossil-rich surroundings. These places offer a fine mix of scenery, culture and local mountain life.
The tour also includes Chandratal Lake, one of the most stunning high-altitude lakes in Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by mountains and open meadows, Chandratal is often the most memorable stop on a Spiti journey.
