Sikandra Fort, Agra
The great and beautiful fort is located in the city of Agra and is 13 km from the Agra Fort, which is the last resting place of the Mughal emperor Akbar. It was built by Jahangir in the year 1605-1613, and it is established on 119 acres of grounds in Sikandra. It is named Sikandra after Sikander Lodhi. It consists of five stories. It is made up of red-colored sandstone and has beautiful architecture. It is also known as the crypt of Akbar. It has lovely gardens and is surrounded by a high wall so that animals and other unwanted people cannot enter without any Authorization.
It is a very well maintained place. People love to tour this place because of its intricate detailing architecture of this fort. It is of pyramidal projection from the outside. It is a lovely and peaceful place for visitors and is liked by tourists because it is a well-maintained place.
