Moti Masjid, Agra

Moti Masjid is located in Agra and was built by Emperor Shah Jahan. It is also called as Pearl Mosque, or in Hindi, it is called Moti Masjid. When Shah Jahan was ruled in the city at that time, numerous monuments were built by Shah Jahan, and the Taj Mahal is famous among them, but Moti Masjid is also from one of them. It is said that this mosque was made by Shah Jahan for his members of the royal court. 

It is made up of exciting white marble. Tourists come to visit this mosque because of its unique and attractive design. It shines like a crystal in the moonlight in the night. But it is not open for people for prayer inside the Masjid but is open for visiting this beautiful Masjid. Some of the domes inside the Masjid are built-in Hindu style and are mixed of two cultures which show the unity of Hindu and Muslims.
