Akbar's Tomb, Agra
Akbar's Tomb is located in an incredible city, namely Agra. It was built in the year 1605-1613 by his son Jahangir and is established on 119 acres of grounds. It is totally made up of sandstone and white marble. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden that is designed by Emperor Akbar himself. The tomb is found near the rising sun, and it is close to his wife's tomb that is also situated in Sikandara.
When Emperor Akbar was alive, he selected this place for his final resting place, and also designed the gardens and took care of the construction of his town tomb. The architecture of the tomb is very incredible to see. It is 14 km away from the Taj Mahal. It has four gates, and the southern gate is the largest gate. It is four stories. It was done in a very typical and fantastic style that visitors want to visit this.
