Ranakpur Jawai Bandh Utsav 2021 begin on December 22

The Ranakpur Jawai Bandh Utsav will be held in the Pali district of Rajasthan from December 22 to 23. According to Rajasthan Tourism Department, along with this festival, Utsav of Mount Abu will also be held on December 30-31, which will mark the last official tourism event of 2023. A number of similar events will be held in the months ahead to entice tourists.

Department officials announced that these celebrations reflect Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage. It said that the tourists have continued to show enthusiasm for the events, as witnessed during the recently concluded Bundi Utsav and Matsay Utsav in Alwar.

Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary for Tourism, Rajasthan, participating in the event stated, “Rajasthan is a land of all seasons and pulsates with festivities all year long. In winters the vast expanses of desert sand throb with life, sound, and color as large numbers for the domestic festivals, some of which such as Desert Festival, Pushkar Fair have emerged to global recognition.”
